# 🔮 Obols Obols are special stat-boosting items earned primarily from [[Mechanics/Tower|The Tower]]. They provide flat bonuses to your core stats and can be slotted into two different systems. ## Stats Each obol boosts one of six stats: - ⚔️ Attack - 🛡️ Defense - ❤️ HP - 💨 Speed - 🍀 Luck - 💎 Mana ## Tiers Obols come in seven tiers, each providing more stat points: | Tier | Stat Bonus | |------|-----------| | Iron | 1 | | Gold | 2 | | Emerald | 4 | | Ruby | 6 | | Opal | 8 | | Topaz | 11 | | Bismuth | 14 | ## Upgrading Obols Lower-tier obols can be upgraded to the next tier by combining obols. ## Discipline Slots Discipline slots unlock as you level up. Each slot has a level requirement and some slots are tied to a specific stat — you can only equip obols matching that stat in those slots. Other slots accept any obol. Slots unlock gradually from level 2 all the way up to level 5,000, giving you a long-term progression path. ## Greed Slots Greed slots are unlocked with gold instead of levels. The cost scales exponentially, making each additional slot significantly more expensive. Greed slots work the same as Discipline slots but offer an alternative progression path for gold-rich players. ## Tips - Tower climbing is the primary source of obols — higher floors drop better tiers - Don't rush upgrades on low tiers; the costs add up quickly at higher tiers - Discipline slots provide steady passive power as you level
